Invention Creation

Invention forms the cornerstone of our Enterprise IP Management System (IPMS). It serves as the central element around which all relationships and management activities revolve.

Create a new invention

Users need to create a new invention record before taking other actions, such as applying for patents, signing agreements, analyzing finances, generating marketing materials, and others.

Option 1. Create an invention record based on the default template:

1. Click on the New Invention button;
2. Choose the Create mode;
3. Input the title and choose the template(e.g., Default) to create a new invention record.

Option 2. Create an invention record by migration

1. Click on the New Invention button;
2. Choose the Import mode;
3. Select the type of migrated data (such as the disclosure form, the tech paper, the patent file, etc)
4. Import the file and create a new invention record.
